About This Cat
What WeRescue Scout knows about Oppie
Oppie is best suited to a calm home where someone is available for daytime care and can manage his medical needs with patience. He thrives with an owner who enjoys quiet evenings and doesn't mind a devoted bedside companion who loves head and back pets but prefers not to be held.
- Requires twice-daily eye medication administration during stressful periods like moving.
- On prescription diet and occasional gabapentin; adopter must be able to manage medication in food.
- Occasional litter box overflow—may need larger box, multiple boxes, or dietary adjustment.
- Fearful of new people initially; needs time to acclimate before seeking attention.
