About This Dog
What WeRescue Scout knows about RANGER
Ranger needs a patient, experienced adopter who can commit to working through his initial wariness and managing his behavioral needs with consistency and trust-building. A home without young children and with someone available to manage feeding, muzzling during transitions, and providing the close attention he craves will suit him best.
- Displays aggression toward new people; requires muzzle and shock collar for veterinary visits and meeting strangers.
- Demands significant individual attention and becomes jealous of other pets; not suitable for multi-pet homes where he must share.
- Food-guarding behavior; must be fed separately in crate and monitored closely to prevent stealing human food or other pets' meals.
- Requires experienced, patient owner willing to work through trust-building and behavioral management.

About RANGER
Underdog Rescue of Arizona, LLC
RescueWe are a group of volunteers who have individually worked with many other rescues prior to starting Underdog Rescue. We are an all breed rescue, and have a soft spot for bully breeds, medical cases and fear cases. We pull primarily from the County Shelter's daily Euthanasia list and place animals in our approved foster homes. We then network these homeless pets in order to rehome them into loving families. We require all adoption applicants to fill our our adoption application, receive a home visit, pay our adoption/rehoming fee and sign our legal adoption contract. All animals are fully vaccinated and altered prior to adoption being finalized. We do a standard 2 week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period, in which the applicant has the opportunity to be sure the animal is a good fit for their home/family.
