This gorgeous girl is named Nessie, and she had to get a super short haircut after her rescue because of all the mats. Nessie is a big, beautiful, friendly, and engaging girl. She gets along famously with everybody…adults, kids, other dogs, and even rascally cats.
At 1 year old, Nessie already weighs 80 pounds. And she's going to grow a little more. We believe she is Poodle/Great Pyrenees.
Nessie entered the Paws in Prison program last week (7/3) where she will spend 8 weeks polishing up her manners and learning to be the best girl she can be. We would love to have a home ready for her when she graduates.
We think Nessie is going to bound thru training and steal everybody's heart along the way. If she's already stolen yours, don't dillydally on applying. Nessie won't be available long!
Located in Arkansas and can be adopted locally, or can transport to the New England area if adopted there. If adopted in New England, adopter will need to pick up (or arrange for a trusted friend/family to pick him up) on a Saturday in PA, NJ, or CT. Residents of other states may adopt as well, as long as they can meet our transporter along their route.
