This little guy is the dude. He is a super affectionate kitten that is becoming quite the lap cat and he will purr like a chainsaw when he is happy. The Dude will run and play like any young kitten, but also enjoys snuggling in quieter moments. Little Dude was brought to a local shelter with a badly injured front paw when he was 6 weeks old. The shelter put out a plea for help, and SCP was able to pull him and place him in a foster home where he could get the care he needed. Dude's paw healed up after a few weeks of treatment; however, he lost his paw pad and it will not grow back. He will always have a special lucky paw that will be a little bit different. But this setback has not slowed the Dude down. He is learning to adapt and use his paw in ways that work for him.
