6/24/2026 Volunteer Feedback: Larry is pretty new to the rescue and still living at our busy shelter while waiting for a foster home to open. He has been polite, relaxed and quiet in his kennel…patiently waiting for his turn for a walk and playtime. He is dog friendly as well.
Larry is a fun loving dog who brings plenty of energy and personality wherever he goes. He absolutely loves playing with toys, especially the squeaky ones…and he is always excited to have volunteers join in the fun. Larry enjoys going for walks and we're working on loose leash walking as he's a strong dog and he can pull cuz he's soooo excited to be out of his kennel and go explore! And did I mention what a handsome dude he is? His plush fur coat is just like a stuffed animal and begs to be petted and cuddled.
With his playful spirit and love of all human attention, Larry is going to make a great companion for someone or a family looking for an affectionate and engaging best friend! Could it be you?!

6/21/26 Volunteer Feedback: I took Larry on an outing today and he did a really good job. Most of the time he just wanted to lay in the grass, sit in my lap and look at everything go by while he rolled around with his toy. He LOVES his toys. He likes to carry something with him on walks. Very good listener. While he was curious, he did not seem to want to chase bikes or cars on leash. He's such a good boy!

6/21/26 Volunteer Feedback: This guy is a big teddy bear! All Larry wants to do is show love to people! He will give you lots of kisses and jump up on you if you let him. He is also quite the explorer on walks. He wants to sniff out anything interesting. Larry does not chase cars or animals, but he is a strong man, which can lead to pulling when on a leash. These couple of things could be easily improved over time with training, as Larry aims to please, and would definitely be motivated by treats and pettings.
