Esme was found by the public on May 24, 2026. She and her brother (A735147) came to us for foster care on June 18. They were quiet and shy at first, with Upper Respiratory Infections. We gave them 10 days of medicine for the infection and they recovered. She did have a sneeze hold on for awhile but it has been addressed and she is fine. They eat wet food twice a day, and have dry food and water available at all times. Esme has always used the litter box and never had an accident. She started becoming more comfortable with her environment and now loves to run and play. She's happy to be picked up, held, carried, petted.Summary of Personality: Esme is sweet and kind. She started out very shy and would hide whenever someone would come into the room but she has gotten over that. She is still tentative about new places and areas but becomes comfortable soon. She is happy to be picked up and held and purrs when held and petted. She is often on the go and running around with her brother. She likes to play with string toys, mouse or ball toys and feather sticks. She always uses and litter box and rarely ever meows.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): Esme has always been with her brother and the 2 are very close. She has been in a household with 3 adults since she was picked up. She has no experience with dogs, other cats or small children. She has a small pen for overnight and then has a spare bathroom space in the home to run around and explore.Include any observations: Esme has been completely litter box trained since she joined us at 6 weeks old. She has never had an accident in her area, or when we have her out in the house to play. She is clean and tidy - never flipping over or dumping her food or water. She has been great.
