About Pet Central Helps!
Pet Central Helps! takes in, provides in-house veterinary care, and successfully finds quality homes for over 2,500 animals each year. This “organically grown” organization does not receive any government funding and successfully operates on a tight budget that emphasizes housing available pets in foster homes, with appreciation of a small staff that truly cares about our in-house adoptables. PCH! places far more animals for adoption every year than any other private or government organization in Central Illinois. Additionally, we provide community support through programs designed to keep animals OUT of shelters. Some examples of our assistance programs include a pet food bank that regularly serves over 100 pets each month, a low-cost spay/neuter program, and a “seniors for seniors” low-cost adoption program.
