About Houston Pets Alive!
Houston Pets Alive! (HPA!) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas. While we share part of our name and nonprofit tax-exempt status with other “Pets Alive!” organizations, we are entirely separate entities. HPA! does not share operations, programs, staff, or funding with similarly named organizations. Each organization designs and implements its own unique programs tailored to the needs of its community. HPA! focuses specifically on saving at-risk cats and dogs in the Greater Houston area through adoption, foster, and lifesaving shelter support programs. We value the lifesaving work of other Pets Alive! organizations, but it is important to note that HPA! is a distinct organization with its own mission, programs, and funding streams.
