About Noah's Ark Animal Shelter
Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humane care, shelter, rehabilitation, and advocacy for unwanted, abandoned, and abused animals in Gainesville and Cooke County, TX. Established in 2006 to meet the need for a safe and compassionate community shelter, Noah’s Ark works in cooperation with the City of Gainesville to care for impounded animals while also accepting owner-relinquished pets when space allows. While not an enforcement agency, our mission is centered on animal welfare, responsible stewardship, and lifesaving outcomes, ensuring every animal is treated with dignity and given the opportunity to find a safe, loving, permanent home through adoption and rescue partnerships.
