About Prince George's County Animal Services Facility and Adoption Center

The Prince George's County Animal Services Division (ASD), originally established in 1968, operates the Animal Services Facility and Adoptions Center. As the animal control agency for the County, ASD responds to all animal-related calls for service, secures placement for homeless animals through adoption and rescue groups, maintains a foster care program, and offers human education and volunteer opportunities.
