About Greater Chicago Cage Bird Society
GCCBS is a non-native exotic birds. Currently we have 150 birds in our care this includes finches, canaries, parakeets, conures, parrots, cockatoos & macaws. The birds are surrendered to us by individuals, animal control, police & fire departments and found outside. We provide high quality pellets, seed and fresh fruits & Veggies daily. All birds receive a baseline health screen including blood testing & infectious disease testing. We screen all adopters & educate them on bird care & behavior.
