About Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA
The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA was founded in 1955, and our mission statement is to be dedicated to the protection, humane treatment, and well-being of all animals. What started as a small 5 kennel building has now become a multifaceted organization that can hold 60 dogs and roughly 100 cats. To uphold our mission, we offer a variety of services to support pets and their people in our community; from programs like our low-cost veterinary care, a free-pet food bank, as well as dog boarding, and cruelty intervention.
