About Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control
Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control supports the municipal shelter, Detroit Animal Care and Control, with live release, shelter intervention, and fundraising to provide collars, leashes, harnesses, and goody bags for adopted dogs. We also run the volunteer program at the shelter. Our volunteers host offsite adoption events for shelter dogs as well as dogs in foster.
