Event Participation
We will waive all adoption fees on Friday, August 7th and extend our hours of operation so we are available for adoption appointments from 7am-9pm. We will then offer 50% off all adoption fees on Saturday, August 8th, and Sunday, August 9th during our normal hours of operation.

Founded in Raleigh in 1967, the SPCA of Wake County is an independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization and shelter dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Our mission is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption. We take in, care for, and adopt out over 4,000 pets per year and provide vital community programs including access to education resources, affordable spay/neuter services, and pet food assistance.
