About Yaqui Animal Rescue

We are a non-profit animal rescue located on our 80-acre ranch in Sullivan City, Texas, near the border of Mexico. We have over 250 animals in our care including cats, dogs, horses, cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and turtles. We are a community-driven organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals through proactive care, accessible services, and compassionate advocacy. Our organization is committed to prevention as much as rescue, providing free and low-cost resources like spay, neuter, vaccination, and microchip clinics to reduce barriers and prevent suffering before it begins. We are a hands-on advocate, rescuing and protecting vulnerable animals while promoting accountability and kindness within the community. We are focused on lasting impact, empowering people, expanding access to care, and creating a future where fewer animals are at risk.
