About Tragic to Magic

Tragic to Magic is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue founded in 2017 and based in Baja California, Mexico. We rescue dogs and cats from the streets, shelters, neglect, and abandonment, providing medical care, rehabilitation, foster placement, and the chance to find loving forever homes through our Southern California adoption events. Since our founding, we have helped more than 3,000 animals, including over 700 adoptions in 2025 alone. Our cross-border rescue work allows us to give animals in some of the most vulnerable situations a true second chance.
