About Stray Cat Blues, Inc.

Stray Cat Blues (SCB) is a no-kill 501(c)(3) cat rescue led by a volunteer Board of Directors, one full-time Foster Home Coordinator, and more than 200 dedicated volunteers committed to saving lives. Each year, SCB rescues, cares for, and adopts out over 1,200 stray and abandoned cats. By providing comprehensive veterinary care, foster placement, and adoption services, SCB is committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable cats in southeast Pennsylvania and serves as a recognized leader in regional rescue efforts. In addition to placing adoptable cats into loving homes, SCB operates a robust Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, providing spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations for more than 1,000 community cats annually through partner veterinarians. SCB intakes friendly community cats and kittens identified through our help request portal, as well as through connections with neighbors, volunteers, adopters, donors, and local veterinary partners. This approach allows us to support both vulnerable animals and the people who care for them in our communities. Every cat in our program receives high-quality, individualized care, and our working cat program ensures safe, long-term placements for cats not suited to indoor homes, guaranteeing that every cat has the opportunity for a valued life.
