About Ohlone Humane Society
We have several different programs. Pet Meals on Wheels who helps get pet food to low income and unhoused people so they can keep their pets, a team who does TNR (trap, neuter and return) Animal Assisted Therapy team of volunteers who take their dogs and 2 cats on the team to schools when students are testing, hospital retirement homes and the library as a few example. We have a wildlife center who takes in injured and abandoned young wildlife and rehabs them and returns them to the wilderness, special assistance who helps low income people with vet bills for their pets and we provide vouchers to the public so they can get community cats spayed or neutered with them paying $60 copay and Ohlone pays the rest. Humane Education providing materials and challenges to teach children about animals. I manager the foster kitten program where we rescue kittens from the streets of the tri city area provide all the medical needed and then get the adopted.
