About Hearts and Tails Animal Alliance
From our home base in Southern New Hampshire, Hearts and Tails Animal Alliance coordinates and supports the dedicated efforts of multiple volunteer animal advocacy organizations to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. We work in collaboration with: Puerto Rico-based shelter organizations that accept and care for stray animals, providing medical treatment, behavioral rehabilitation, and preparation for adoption. U.S. and Puerto Rico-based transport teams that safely transfer adoptable animals to shelters and foster homes in the United States. U.S.-based shelters and foster families that provide housing, care, and adoption services to help these animals find their forever homes. Hearts and Tails Animal Alliance is a 100% volunteer-staffed 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Every donation goes directly toward our mission to help animals in need and give them a second chance at life.
